| ANNOUNCEMENTS |
- Andrew Do for winning the Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship which
pays for tuition, housing and other expenses for up to 10 years. This is the
most prestigious and largest award scholarship for college and post graduate
education. He was one of 1000 winners chosen nationwide.
- Timothy Tran who improved by 300 points on is SAT test, bringing his score
to 2200 taken from the October 10 test date. (These are comparisons of
actual official tests score results administered by The College Board,
and not from practice tests).
- Khang Duong, 8th Gr. brought up his Math from a C to a B+ in less than 2
months.
- Chinese New Year 2010 Celebration at our Centers. Every child received
red envelops (li-xi). Many students watched the Dragon Dance (Mua Lan)
and enjoyed hearing the firecrackers.
